Trocellen  is a supplier of cross-linked PO foams. Together with our Japanese shareholders, Furukawa Electric Co. Ltd. and Otsuka Chemical Co. Ltd. we are heading for global success.
With more than 600 employees at eight sites and many producing companies, various partner universities, institutes and designers we offer solutions to a wide variety of industries and applications. Via our Automotive, Insulation, Adhesive Tapes, Sport & Industry and Footwear units, we meet industry specific requirements and continuously develop innovative products for most diversified needs.

History

As lasting as success.
Our know-how has descended from a good family: Since 1972 Trocellen has been a successful brand of Dynamit Nobel and HT Troplast AG from Troisdorf with production plants in Germany, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Russia and Malaysia.
End of 2000, the Trocellen Group was transformed into an independent company – the Trocellen GmbH. Further investments in our production technology lead to our unique market position – Trocellen is the only European foam producer offering both chemically cross linked and physically cross linked foams.
The next important step in our history took place in 2005 with the acquisition of our company by the Furukawa Electric Co. Ltd. and Otsuka Chemical Co. Ltd., two renowned and global companies with excellent know-how in the foam industry. In order to enable us to be more flexible in the market, increase our understanding of client needs, and make our company more responsive to changing market conditions in the future we restructured our company into a business unit organisation: Automotive, Insulation, Sport & Industry, Footwear and Adhesive Tapes. All this has made us to one of the world’s leading suppliers of cross linked polyolefin foams providing creative and sustainable solutions.
